Max Thomas Kelsey

We Are Home!
Max was born 12/23/08 (I think I have been telling people the wrong day)
We were able to come home on Christmas Day. What an unforgetable day. James was so scared to drive him home. Especially since there was ice all over the roads.
I don't know where the name Max came from but it really stuck in our brains as we discussed names. What I really wanted to do was name him after some family member by starting my geneiology, but that was a lot harder to do than I had firstthought it would of been... We thought it was a simple, not to complex but had style. We don't know a lot of Max's but we know they are out there. Then last night we were watching Access Hollywood and they where naming the top 10 new celebraty babies when we heard Max's name read twice. Once for Christina Agullara and once for Jenifer Lopez. Twice!! I just want to to know we did not name him after JLo... Well, I didn't. James could of.

Thanks for all the messages as emails. we are doing GREAT!

Bundle of Joy

Well, my sister Katy, did it again. She is the Mother to a cute little girl (and I don't know her name yet). My sister Ann and I went to the Hospital to visit her on Saturday and I have forgotten how small they are (you would think I should know this by now). It was so fun to see my new niece and pet her cute furry head.
I on the other hand am not ready to have a baby. I am still on the coun't down. Sometimes I feel like Baby Kelsey keeps trying to climb out of me by stretching as hard as he can as if he is stuck. I keep telling him if he wants to get out of there, then he needs to cooperate to make it easy for the both of us.

In a Hurry

This car had to of been n a hurry. He could not wait to get infront of us. He was tailgating like crazy. When he finally passed us, we saw that he forgot his lunch on his bumper. We never were at a red light long enough to let him know that his lunch is about to blow away.... I think that sack stayed on his bumper for about 3 or 4 miles before it finally blew off in the freeway. Its a good thing there are McDondals on every freeway extit.

Moving Up

I am very excited to share this picture. I again tested for my next belt rank in Karate class 2 weeks ago. It makes me feel so good when I advance in something I thought I would never do. I suprise myself. You may not notice, but my felt is getting smaller and smaller. It should be as long as the others belts.
James watched me test for this belt then took me out for icecream at Charlies and we got the flavor of the month. mmmmm.
my next belt might be a little harder for me to get since I am going to be taking some time off (you all should know what I mean). This will also be a harder belt to recieve. I have to really push myself.

Caught on tape

This is a funny picture James took of a guy on the TV. This was the USU game a while back. After the Aggies had a touch down they showed fans. As you can see one fan was extremely excited. James is so proud of this picture.

Prego in Pink

Here is a picture of me with a basketball trying to emerge from my insides. We took this about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I think I am bigger then that now, and I probably am but not as much as I think. Everyday I think my tummy grows 2 inches.
Of course we have thought of names for him. Its a fun thing to do. Its something I always drempt of doing. Unfortunantly we are not sharing his name with anyone until he is born. We want to see him first. This makes it a big suprise for us and you. We don't have one name narrowed down and I don't think we will until it comes time to name him, but we do have some in mind.
I we are getting excited to see him. I am guess he will be bald. James and I didn't have much hair when we were born. I have a nick name of "Roots" because thats all I had for about 3 years were hair roots. I don't know if he will be big or small when he is born. James was in the 6lb range (I think) and I was in the 9lb range.

Its So Exciting!

Sugar Test

Well I survived my sugar test. I heard tons of horror stories of how nasty it taste and you feel so terrible after drinking it, so I was kind of nervous. I don't know why people are so scared of it. I thought it tasted good. Sure it was kind of hard to guzzle that down in such a short time but it tasted like pop.... now I just wait for the results.
I love going to the Dr. because I get to hear his little heart beat. And I LOVE hearing her say "everything looks and sounds great". What a great reward that is.

Anniversery Getaway

For a late anniversery gift to eachother we went to Midway and stayed at the "Homestead". I had never been there but James has a lot of fun memorys of it. It was a beautiful place. We got to stay in the Farm House which was a dream come true :)

James in front of a modle of the "crater" we were going to swim in.

Me inside of the crater but we couldn't get a cool picture inside of that dark place. The water is very clear and blue. The water is about body tempruature so the swim is very nice and comfortable. Since its so deep there where snorklers bellow us.

I took this picture from the water looking up.

August is Gone

August is gone and we did so much but never bragged about how much fun we had so here is a catch up.

Said goodbye so Jessica and Seth (Boo Hoo) as they leave Utah for greener farms in Iowa and a law school.

Gentri and Heber Green kept us occupied on the rainy days with some games and movies. I will brag that I won this game.

Went tubing with Bob and Hayle Hughs in Idaho. Of course we stopped at Pepperidge farm in Richmond and loaded up on cookies and gold fish.

Celebrated Landon Kelsey's (James Nephew) 4th birthday )Which is in September, but I am clumping this together). We gave him gold fish crackers for this birthday that we got in Richmond. He was to no suprise excited about it but I know he will like them.

We did so many other things that I don't have pictures of.
*Celebrated Reed Bourgeous (My Nephew) 4th birthday
*Went camping at "The Lot" with my family.
*Bought 6 more trees for our yard. James thinks he has to have more trees then our neighbors the Stromans. I don't know why. I think we are still behind.
*Got some cute baby gifts

Yeilding to the right of way

James and I had an interesting experience on our way home from the movies. A scoot tried to T-Bone us on the passenger side of the car. he was going to way to fast around a corner and forgot to yield to my right of way. I know this sounds scary seeing a scooter heading towards your sturdy car. I just thought "we are going to squish them"... I watched as the reality sink in the drivers head, he was making a really crazy face as he tried to think fast, knowing if he didn't react he was going to be stuck to the side of my car.... Well with is "oh crap" thinking, he stopped his scooter by trying to bail off it. So the scoot was busted up a bit... I yelled at James to stop the car because he didn't seem to of noticed anything happen, and he didn't. He missed all the action... I ran back to see if they were ok and they were laughing. They said not to worry.
Happy Labor Day!!

I just wanted to brag a little bit and show another picture of (as Ashlie calles him) "Brady the Baby".
We havent' been very camera happy lately so I don't have any pictures of how I am looking now. Also I am feel pretty normal so it sounds weird in my brain to want to post a picture of slowly progressing belly.

Looking Back

Our 4 year anniversery is comming up on us in a few weeks and I was looking back at all the fun we have had. These pictures are from our 1st anniversery. Our friends (Gentri and Heber) where getting married in SLC so we decided to spend the weekend downtown so that we didn't miss their wedding party. This is where they had there reception, and the picture of the temple is from our hotel room.
This year our anniversery has snuk up on us and we both not ready for it. Well, This year its on a Monday so of course we will probably go out to dinner. We might go to yellowstone the weekend just before. We can claim its for our anniversery, but what we really trying to do is take advantage of or free time and my vaction time before its to late.

Making Music

Merry Christmas to us!!
From the help of our parents and our hard work, James and I were able to buy us a piano last week. We looked and looked and looked and not just recently, but for the past 2 years. I finally got James to to commit. I am so excited.
This is a picture of our piano but we got it in Black... The piano people are so funny. did you know to get a black piano is cheaper then the wood piano, but a black Clavinovia is more more expensive then a wood one and not by a little either? The wood Clavinova is not 100% real wood but it just sounds so funny to me. It doesn't matter what Clavinova you get, they are all fake. 100% fake.... We of course where able to "get a good deal" as the sales man said. We got the black for the price of the wood. I was skeptical about the clavinova but I really like it and it looks good.

Thanks Mom's and Dad's
