8th Kyu

I did it again! I am now a purple belt in Karate (I can never remember the style I am doing). I just wanted to brag about myself a little bit. I will say it again, I never thought I would be taking Karate. I am really noticing a difference in myself. I feel a little more confident with myself which is why I took it. I don't fear walking down a dark ally (like I need to in Logan), as much. Its also fun knowing your hubby won't practice with you because he is scared you will hurt him. It doesn't matter how old you are you are never to old for self defence. I will recomend taking it. My next belt will be a lot harder to earn and my Sensei thinks it will take about 6 months for the next one but I made a goal to try and get it in 4. Wish me luck!!

Vacation Count Down

Well its count down until vacation time again. I am so excited!! After buying our house we have been very lame when it comes to vacations. We keep putting all or money and time into that thing. So this year we promised to have a fun Summer, and so far its working.
We already made our trip to California which was a blast.
This weekend I am going to St. George with my Sisters and Mom to play(I can't wait!).
We are going to Lake Powell and Washington DC in July. That will be a busy month. And I have to say, Lake Powell is one of my favorite vacation spots that I have gone to.
We also have some little adventures lined up such as lots of camping, canoing in Benson, hiking, Bear Lake, and boating. But of course this is all on hold until it warms up or a least stops raining.

Starting Over

Today is the James last day of work for Autoliv. He has worked there for almost 4 years. He is very sad to be leaving so many friends (Bill, Mac and Bruce) and a great company. But on the other hand he is very excited to start his new job at S.A.E. Interactive Rides (They don't make very many rides anymore) tomorrow. This switching jobs thing has nothing to do with James graduating, it was just luck I guess you could say. Everyone at work is excited for James to be leaving (not because they want him to) because he is young and ambitious. He will be able to use his skills and talent more. The best part (to me) is he will be in town. No more commuting over the mountain. He actually will work 1 mile west of me. So we can carpool most days. Not to get mushy but I am glad that James works hard to make our lives better. James life keeps changing and changing.
