In a Hurry

This car had to of been n a hurry. He could not wait to get infront of us. He was tailgating like crazy. When he finally passed us, we saw that he forgot his lunch on his bumper. We never were at a red light long enough to let him know that his lunch is about to blow away.... I think that sack stayed on his bumper for about 3 or 4 miles before it finally blew off in the freeway. Its a good thing there are McDondals on every freeway extit.

Way funny you saw that! Poor guy hopefully his hurry was valid rather than just being impatient!

Tami, leave it to you two to find something like this to post about. No writing about your lives or the stress of getting ready for a new baby. Nope, just posting about someone who forgot their lunch on their bumper. That's okay. It made me laugh. ;)

P.S. I'm going to give you some unasked-for advice:

~I loved Secrets of the Baby Whisperer. It's the closest thing you'll get to a baby manual, but it must be studied.

~Never go cheap for a newborn's diapers.

~The first month their skin is sooo sensitive, so you need to change his diaper practically every hour.

~I love Desitin Original diaper ointment. It's got 40% zinc oxide and is so thick and creamy. It's excellent for protecting the bum from diaper rash because it stays on, and it heals so well because of the high amount of zinc oxide.

~Whatever diaper cream you use, especially for the first month, be sure to apply it every time you change your diaper. A&D Ointment (yellow tube) is good for overnight protection but is crappy for healing rashes.

~If you get penicillin during labor, ask for a prescription of Nystatin cream for the baby, just in case he develops a yeast infection.

~Newborns are the best! Oh, I love them. I'm so excited for you to have one of your own!

Hmmmm, is that what you brought for dinner? JK We all know that you wouldn't share something of the road - that stuff is priceless.
