Halloween Present

Yet again another fun Halloween. Max seemed a little off in the morning since he did have a sick weekend, but quickly made up for it later in the day.

 

Max (Fireman), Skye (as herself) and James (ghost buster) getting ready to leave. Skye has a sucker in her hand already. It was the only way I could get her to leave the candy bowl alone.

 

Max and his buddy Batman, I mean Blake trick or treating. Max talks about Blake 30 times a day. He even argues with him when he is not around. I call it a Bormance.

 

Had to throw this one in. Grandma rolling around in a blanket with Max. She sure does spoil him.

Holloween Past

A few pictures of our past Holloweens. I realized after looking for these pictures that we don't have many pictures to choose from. We never really dressed up that much I guess. I think thats going to start changing. Max is really excited to dress up this year. He is going to be a "Fire Man" which changed to "Fire Engine" which is now "a Fire Department". His cute mind keeps chaning the words around. He knows they are all associated some how. Skye we are not doing much with her. She doesn't care and we don't care enough to care either. I am going to draw a cat nose on her.

Sand

Nothing is funner then a BIG mound of sand. Here we all are LOVING it. The kids had so much fun that they were so exhausted by the time we got in the car. Watching James and Max jump and spin and roll was hilarious. Skye face planted it while trying to crawl down the hill. Poor girl had sand in her eyes the rest of the day.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

I just love my birthday! I always have. Even if no one else knows about it, I do and thats all it takes to make it special. But I did have a lot of birhtday wishes from family and friends so i am not really forgotten. James gave me a rocken birthday gift. A gift card to get the hosue cleaned. He has been working a lot lately and we have had to hire out to get the lawn mowed. So he said since he is hiring help to get his work done around here, he thought I should get some too. Cute!
We also got to have James family for a family celebration.

 

The cake that Max (and I) could hardly waite to eat.

 

Its this guys birthday too. Jeff, is James's big brother who is so old and turned 40!

Where Are They?

James has been working a ton lately and hasn't had much time to do well, anything. He has been tring to get the lawn mowed but its really hard. He comes home and he has the whole family wanting his attention, or he comes home to late, or he is just tired. He left one small patch of grass unmowed so Max could play in it. He loved it. he thought he was a tiger in the jungle. I am sad to say that patch is gone now but the memory lives on. We now have a company keeping up one the yard work for us while he is working. What takes James over an hour takes them 15 minutes. Amazing!

 

So I have been in a blog fog and have not felt much like blogging. But it was today that I thought I should do more blogging and post more things of what has been on my mind like food, quotes, strange things I see, lessons learned. Just to keep my brain juice flowing. It makes me feel like I am learning things. Anyways, If you know me I don't always follow through on things I try to plan. So I am warning you that this blog might get weird for a while.

Last year on Easter we got a picture of Max with his cousin Jace and Both I and Jace's Mom, Caroline have loved that picture. So this year Caroline suggested we do it with our girls. The pictures sum up ther personalities pretty good. I think they are hilarious.

 

 

 

 

Social life of a 2 year old

These two are what we can say best buddies. They are 2 boys the same age, into the same things like cars, trucks, trains and such. They both get excited to see the other one. We talk about Blake all the time in our house. Here they are talking on the phone to eachother. It was really cute. I have several other pictures of these two but I never get around to posting them. Max is so lucky to have such a good friend who lives by us. Blake is a big brother too to a little sister who is Skyes age. We are going to have some fun time.
