James and I made plans with some family members to go skiing. It was fun!! We went to Brighton (it was empty!!) because it was probably the only place that had snow, and it was a good meeting point. We had family coming from Provo, SLC, Ogden, Tremonton and I can forget me who came from Cache Valley..... I have been skiing all my life but I have never moved on past the snow plow. I am to cautious and no fun. James is very patient with me. He would love to cruise down the hill but I am to scared to fall and get hurt. I am always the party pooper. I tell him he can leave me and we will meet up sometime if he want a good run, but he is to nice and stays with me.... I didn't take my camera so this is the best picture I could find on the internet. It was a fun weekend!

Oops

Last night when I a was posting my blog the computer did some weird stuff and I lost what I had done. So I started a new blog and when I sent it, it added to pictures from the first blog, and I didn't know it. So I will inform you on the extra pictures. ... Over thanksgiving we went to the wet lands by my parents house. We use to hike out there in the winter to a big pond and go ice skating. When went in November, the ice was frozen when we left but it had melted so our feet were very moist. We went with some of my cousins that live out there. They where fearless.

Family Time

My Blog is probably the most boring blog out there. I have had a lack of interest to up date it while I am at home. I work on a computer all day and would gladly do it while I am there. but my pictures are at home, there for I have a problem.
I am so excited for Christmas. We got all three of our decorations out for Christmas and decoraded our home. James did put up a string of lights on the lowest part of our house. It was the only place our ladder will reach high enough... My work is also being really festive and I have been helping decorate it. I have a huge tree right in front of my desk that I get to look at all day. It looks good. I had to use a scissor lift to decorate it. I will admit that was kind of scary to be on that while it wobbled. Next week we are haveing Parties galore and lots of food. I don't think anyone will be working much. I am already sensing that now. I also get that whole week off for Christmas and we don't know what to do with our time. Any one have any ideas?
This is a picture of my family that we took a few months ago. The 2 girls that I am stanind by are my sisters, not the girl on the right. She is my sister in law. We always get asked if we are sisters. Its kind of funny when they ask. Thats why Caroline (my sister in law)are so cool. I always call my sisters my "little sisters" because I have a few feet on them. They don't find it that funny anymore. The washed out faces are my neice and nephews. They are so much fun. I love watching them grow up.

Ladle Gathering

Last weekend We had a small get together with my Moms family. I have 1 aunt on that side, and she had 2 kids. So I only have 2 cousins. My cousin Jenny lives in Oregon, and Andy lives in Ogden. Thats who came up. He, his wife Renee, and his mom (Aunt Peggy) visited us. I also had my mom and dad, and my brother with his family. We went out to eat at Cafe Sabor and got free drinks, frree appitizers and free dessert. I guess they where having a crazy night and thanked us for our patients. We didn't mind. We were just happy to have our family with us... When Andy arrived to my house he tried out our Wii. It was funny watching him box his wife. He was really into it. But I think his wife did better.... After a great dinner we went swimming at Crystal hot springs. And that goodness it wasn't boy scout night.... Now that I figured I can put movies on my blog I am probably going to do it more often.

Katy Vs. Spencer

This is a video from last summer and I hope works. Its of my sister teasing her boy Spencer with a bowl of Ice cream. This is pretty serious stuff to him. I think this is border line abuse. If you look close to his face you can see an ice cream goatie.

Last weekend we celebrated Russell's visit to Utah. He is 15, soon to be 16(Aaaaaaa), which makes him James's oldest nephew. The next one is 3 years old. Sometimes I wonder if I am an Aunt or an Cousin to him because he is only 9 years younger then me. My oldest sister is 8 years older then me. James oldest sister (Russell's mom) is 9 years older then him. Its just one of my random questions that runs through my brain.... When we get together we have to play Settelers. In this picture ther is James, Russell (the blond), Brian (James brother, but I think its obvious), and Jill (James sister). The game was intense! We all thought we had the lucky hand but Brian snuck my us unnoiticed, and won. It was a good game. I just cannot get enough of that game. We make everyone play. Good thing we have a good support time. My family likes it, James family likes it, our friends like it, and we can't forget our neighbors who are the frequent players. We use to play a lot with my brother before he decided to move away. Way to go :( To simplify whay I just said, we love family and friends, and we really love family and friends that play with us. Thanks for letting us have fun!!

Haloween II

Here are some pictures of a couple of my nephews, David and Reed. They came over to my house to show off ther costumes to us and to Grandma and Grandpa Bourgeous. Reed was a mean lion. and David was the cowardly lion. Check out the mouth on David!! We always tease about how big his mouth is. but he was one cute baby...... They are fun boys! and they like us. Its great having the Bill and Caroline close by.

Halloween

I had a very fun Halloween this year!! I was the bearded Lady. I got a lot of laughs with that one at work. We also had a pumpkin carving contest. The winner got 2 tickets to the Jazz. 7 rows from the players. How cool would that be. The guy who won used power tools on his pumpkin. I did the traditional carving process. My boss said she liked mine the best but there might be some bias in that.... We also had our friends come over. I was so excited to have them all over. We didn't do much besides eat but we were all happy after that. Now that Halloween is over I am ready for Thanksgiving, and the extra long weekend. I am glad for paid holidays! Now, if only my company will convert to bank holiday's. That wouls be even nicer.

Its What Made Fun Scary

What a fun weekend!!! We had the honor of going to Lagoon with the Casper family. James gets $10 tickets from work so we go every year. We only went on 2 rides and 2 haunted houses. We waited in line for almost an hour to go on Wicked. Which by the way is very scary!! I hate rides that drop you like this one and the rocket. It scares me to death. but I am proud to say I made it, and I find it very healthy to scream on a ride... We played our game of first person to see someone they know wins, and we all unfortunately won.(if we all win then the games isn't as fun)We all lived in the appartment complex of Old Farm, and it happend to be, what seemed like old farm lagoon day. We all saw about 10 or 15 people from our old complex... I wish I had a picture of me on that ride but we didn't bring our camera.

New Bed

I am SO EXCITED!! I went to wal-mart on my lunch break for some make up and ran in to this bed. I have been looking for a head board for a while but I just can commit to pay that much.....Anyways this bed was originally $239.88 but was marked to $50 on sale. But there was a sign next to it (and a lot of other stuff) "Take addition 40% off lowest price". SCORE!!. That made it $30. I think it will match the rest of my room but I won't mind if its a little off. I am happy to use this CHEAP bed for a while. I am so HAPPY!

The Next Karate Women

About a month ago the USU police came and talked to the secretaries at SDL about what to do if someone threatening comes inside. I got a little worried and thought maybe I should start going to a self defense class. Later that day a co-worker said that he is starting a self defense(Karate)class at the sports academy. What a strange coincidence that it this all happened the same day. Its like the universe was reading my mind. So Today is day 2 of Karate class. So far I am the only student. I am really excited! Some people think its kind of weird but I feel cool.

I'm Back!!!

We made it back alive from Lake Powell. We did and saw so much and there was not enough time to do it all. All that came was my Mom and Dad, of course, My sister Katy and her Manly man Kevin and James and I. My sister had the giggles all week. It was really funny. She had a hard time sitting or else her legs would start gettting wiggly...Anyway, we Hiked, swam, explored, ate, slept, got rained on. It was all well worth it. A big storm came through on Saterday and started makeing waterfalls off all the cliffs. I have seen it rain there before but never this much. So me and my dad had a great Idea to take the little boat into Dangling Rope for some gas in the middle of the storm. Well, it was raining like crazy and felt like pelets were shooting at us as we crused to the marina. OUCH!! My dad had the biggest smile as we did it. Needless to say we were drenched by the time we got back. James has been the funnest friend that I have ever taken with me. He was sceptical about a few things because he knows my family but I finally got his trust. He was a great co- captin and achor man. I don't think I could ever do that. (driving the house boat is so boring!) Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun trip and the boats! You guys are what make it so much fun. I will understand if you were glad to get rid of us. Katy and I are a hand full. I hope your ready for another 13 years of boating.

Then Thursday morning we are going to ceder breaks because is where James proposed. Then we are going to visit some family (grave sight's) in Panguitch. We should be rolling into the big lake no later then noon. I am very excited!! Me and my sister are going to PARTY! which means sleep and read books. I have been calling my sister everyday about everything and she is probably getting sick of it. hehehehe.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversery last weekend in SLC. We didn't plan very well so we just went to dinner at the garden and the Joseph Smith movie (we hadn't seen it yet). The food they brought out was very facney but to tell you the truth I would of rather had a hamburger.... Anyways, it was three years ago that day that we were seale together in the SLC temple. I have to admit, I don't really remember my wedding that well. I had an over load of things going on that it wasn't being saved like it should of been. I do remember the big things like, saying yes to marry him, or bird seads that my family sowed into the pockets of the clothes I took on the Honey Moon. Stuff like that is what stands out.
The other picture is my niece Kate. She is almost 1 and she is the perfect kid! well, she does get mad when she is hungry but I don't blame her for that. We visited James family on Sunday and got to enjoy Kate and her older brother Landon. We had alot of fun! I think our visits with family go by to fast and we don't get to catch up. I guess whe should move to SLC so we won't be such strangers. Then we can play games and read people magazine all night and day.

Good Game

We had the honor of playing Settlers with our neighbors (Andy, Ashlie and Sasha). Ashlie made really good cobbler with a delicious side of ice cream. We are spoiled. I don't know why that game is so fun but we love it!! I have won maybe 5 times in the millions of times that I have played it. I guess I am just a good sport. To win this game you have to have 12 points, I finished with 4, and you are automatically given 3 of those points. yep, I stink. So if anyone wants to feel good by winning then give a call and I will make you feel good.

Lack of Labor Day

What a fun weekend!! I am still feeling the pain of it. I have some pictures but I can't post them until I get off work. In the mean time I will inform you about my life. Friday we went down town for my friend Leisa's wedding reception. She looked beautiful and so was her reception. Congrats Leisa! I hope you know how to cook. Then we hit the road again to Lehi to visit the VanWagner family (James old friend). We got up at 4am on Saturday to catch the best water for boating at starvation reservoir. The water was perfect! We cruised around, slept, ate, and played on Danial and Amanda's (James friends) boat. What a fun time we had!! We did manage to fit in a game of Settelers of Catan. I know we are freaks. We play that game with our neighbors, friends, family (both sides, even extended). And its true Leisha, we get mad when we play that game... Anyway, buy the end of the day we were exhausted. We drove home that night and crashed. Monday, we made it up to Monte Cristo and enjoyed the scenery. we soaked it up in a horse trough, had a great 4 wheeler ride to Rosie's Mine, and cooked hobo dinners. It was beautiful and quiet. It was a great way to end the weekend.

Third times a charm

We had the honor of celebrateing my nephews 3rd birthday this weekend. He had a "Cars" cake and he was so excited. He knows the name of all the characters and always makes us play with his "Cars" when we come over. Since we are so caring and loving, we gave him back the stuff that has been collecting at our house that they have left behind. He wasn't really excited but he didn't remember the stuff. Oh, we did give him a little toy figurine from nacho libre (which he also loves that movie)that James got in mexico from work. HEHEHEHE, I think we are so funny. We also had to sqeeze in a game of Settelers of Catan. Caroline won the game. Good Job Caroline, looks like I am the only one in the looser club now. I scored a whole 3 points the entire game. Yippy!

On the way home I was remembering when reed was born. It was also the same time that James brother was expecting their first child as well. They are both celebrating there 3rd birthday and we will be celebrating our 3rd anniversery. With the combination of James hard work and patience, and my stuborn mind, our life keeps getting better and better!!
