Silver Beaver

 

I had a very unusual weekend with my family. My Dad was honored with the Silver Beaver Scouting Award (which he was very excited for), so we got together as a family to celebrate. This was the first time in over 5 years that there was not an inlaw around ( I do like them). It just rememinded me of what life use to be like. After the ceremony we all drove to Burger Bar in Roy for Ice Cream. We all sat in my Moms mini van as a family and ate. I can't remember the last time we did something like that with just the oringnal family. This is a picture of my Family. (from right to left) Katy (my oldest sister but really my little sister as you can see), Bill (just older then me) Mom (Susan), Dad (Keith), Me, and finally Ann (the second oldest)..... We where hoping that the silver beaver award ment, they would let a beaver loose and which ever cannidate caught it would win the silver beaver award, but that never happend. What did happend, was as a lady was going through a line giving hand shakes and stuff on the stage, she stepped out to far and fall off. Luckly she as ok. It was one of those moments that might end up on america's funniest video's. It was scary for that moment but it all turned out ok in the end.
